Teena have been a practicing Massage Therapist / Rongoā Māori Practitioner since the early 1990's during her National and International Sporting Career. Teena's philosophy is to empower kiritaki (clients), and whanau (families) to change old habits, by forming healthier life choices for tinana (body), hinengaro (psychological), wairua (spiritual well-being) and whanaungatanga (family); breaking negative generational cycles.
Mentors Jackie McClutchie, and Papa Joe Hohepa, inspired Teena to maintain her Rongoā tikanga, while collaborating a partnership with Western Medical Clinicians for a wider choice platform for whanau.
